Officially Launched! Primajasa Bandung-Merak Fares Bring Smiles to Passenger

Good news for loyal customers of Primajasa’s regular bus service on the Merak – Bandung route. Primajasa has officially announced an additional regional fare for its bus service on the Merak – Bandung route, starting January 30, 2026.

This policy has been implemented to provide more proportional fares based on distance traveled. It is hoped that this will be a solution for PJ Mania who want to travel at more economical fares.

Addition of Area Fares for Primajasa Buses on the Merak – Bandung Route

The following are the details of the latest area fares for the Merak – Bandung route from Primajasa:

• Merak – East Karawang: IDR 70,000
• Bitung – East Karawang: IDR 30,000

Despite the fare adjustment, we will maintain the quality of our AC Business class service with a 2-2 seat configuration. This facility ensures passenger comfort during the trip, which usually takes around 5 to 6 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

For Bandung residents who want to go to Merak or other areas in Banten, departures are still centered at Terminal Leuwi Panjang. And from Merak to Banten, the Primajaasa bus on the Merak – Bandung route will depart from Terminal Merak. The Merak – Bandung route bus is available from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM with a 45-minute departure interval.

With the implementation of this regional fare, Primajasa hopes to remain the top choice for the community in terms of mobility, providing travel solutions that are not only comfortable but also budget-friendly.
